Fascination of Plants Day in May, 2013 coincided with Amgen’s bicycle race. The race happened to pass through Livermore, CA. Students created plant themed art with used bicycle wheels. Their creative art work was exhibited in front of the Bankhead Theater in Livermore. The students also successfully raised funds through sales of their artwork.
