Introduction to Teosinte, wild ancestor of modern day corn

A new program, Food and Agricultural Science, developed by Rajnish Khanna and Analise Hedi (teacher) at Children’s Day School, brings current scientific content to middle and high school classrooms. In this class, Rajnish discussed domestication of corn and introduced middle school students to Teosinte, the wild ancestor of corn.
